Introduction of Pontian

Pontian is situated approximately one hour's drive from Johor Bahru. A fishing village, the fishermen have a settlement of fisherman living on stilts by shorer.

Visitors come to Pontian to taste the fresh seafood at Kukup at the many restaurants here. The road to Pontian is flanked by pineapple plantations.

Pontian is also the staging point for visitors going to Gunung Pulai for waterfall picnics, jungle trekking or mountain climbing.
