BreadTalk goes Japanese! Beginning June 1st as part of its inaugural Spring/Summer 09 collection, BreadTalk is launching ‘Japan Travel Blog’ breads, a refreshing line of Japanese-inspired baked creations. Featuring BreadTalk’s Master Chef Loo’s musings from his month-long sabbatical in Japan, ‘Japan Travel Blog’ captures both the unique tastes of Japan and its culture of vivid imagery.

Scrumptious baked breads include Mount Fuji Swirl, Meat@Harajuku, Berry Blossom and Japanese Sweet Potato.

Available at BreadTalk outlets in Klang Valley and Johor Bahru- Jusco Tebrau Shopping Centre, Sutera Mall Shopping Centre, Aeon Bukit Indah.

Regional ‘Japan Travel Blog’ Photography Competition

To celebrate these new products, BreadTalk is holding a regional photography competition across eight countries. In addition to Malaysia and Singapore, this competition will be open to BreadTalk fans in Bahrain, Hong Kong, Korea, Oman, Thailand and the Philippines. To participate, customers have to upload photos of themselves with one of the ‘Japan Travel Blog’ breads, and the owner of the most interesting picture selected from each country will win a Sony Cyber-shot® T300 Digital Camera DSC-T300. Malaysians will also get the chance to compete with avid fans from other participating country to win a pair of tickets from his or her home country to Tokyo, and get to experience the travels of Master Chef Loo.
